This rosary is designed and hand crafted by Nathan Monk made from both new and stored components.

I have always had a deep love for animals. As a kid people would compare me to a Disney princess because I was often found playing with wild birds. Over the years, I’ve developed a great love for Saint Francis and our kinship in our love of nature.

A few months ago, I found this sterling silver San Damiano cross at an antique store. This cross was made, blessed, and originally sold in Assisi at the burial sight of Saint Francis.

I absolutely love tigers eye and it seemed like a perfect material to honor the saint of animals. I hand selected each bead to ensure the best possible look and feel.

The sterling silver rosary center is one of the few remaining pieces left from a monetary that used to restore rosaries. When the monastery closed in the mid 2000s, I purchased thousands of remaining pieces that had not been restored and began completing their work.

I paired this rosary with an antique Virgin Mary box from Italy.
