This has always been my personal favorite holy medal. This four-way holy medal depicts four of the most revered religious medals all on one piece that also makes the image of the cross. The images depicted are: The Scapular Medal (front and back) The image depicts both the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Legend has it that in the 1600s Jesus appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alocoque. In His visits He made twelve promises to those who devote themselves to His Sacred Heart. The promises include special graces, peace, and blessings. Saint Joseph (left) Joseph is regarded as the patron saint of workers and is associated with various feast days. He is declared to be both the patron and the protector of the Church, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death, due to the belief that he died in the presence of Jesus and Mary. Saint Christopher (right) Saint Christopher is a highly venerated Saint amongst most denominations and across other faith traditions. His most famous legend tells that he carried a child, who was unknown to him, across a river before the child revealed himself as Christ. Therefore, he is the patron saint of travelers, and small images of him are often worn around the neck, on a bracelet, carried in a pocket, or placed in vehicles. Miraculous Medal (front and back) The Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of Our Lady of Graces, is a devotional medal, the design of which was originated by Saint Catherine Labouré following her apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rue du Bac, Paris, France, and made by goldsmith Adrien Vachette. It is believed to provide the person wearing it with a special grace.
