Charity Means Love: Weekend Course

The world has changed and there is no going back. As scary as that might sound, there is a lot of change that has needed to come for a while. We all have the opportunity to either adapt or fail. For those who work in the area or nonprofit and outreach programs these shifts can be tricky to navigate.

In Nathan Monk’s groundbreaking book Charity Means Love: Transforming the Culture of How We Give, he outlines a roadmap forward for a wholistic culture change for those that work in giving fields. The Charity Institute has now turned the highlights of this book into a two day certification course.

This class is ideal for executive directors, board members, volunteers, case managers, and faith leaders who want to bring their outreach programs into the next level of success and provide fresh approaches to the problems they wish to address in our society.

Whether your program addresses food shortages, healthcare, emergency services, utilities/rental assistance, housing, shelter, or any level of assistance programs, this class is for you!

This two day virtual weekend course will provide you with essential tools to reach your maximum success in our ever-changing world. We will address and workshop key areas of:

  • Community Culture
  • Outreach and Outcomes
  • Connecting Virtually
  • Fundraising Models
  • Program Essentials

Those attending this virtual course will have 2 three-hour sessions, Friday and Saturday December 5th and 6th. The courses provided will go deep into program management, adapting to cultural changes, and providing for a secured future for your program.

Each day will provide both classroom time and end with a full hour of open discussion Q&A.

This is not a pre-filmed course. This program is live, adaptable, and interactive. Our course leaders will bring their 40+ years of field experience to the table to provide you with the tools you need to help your program continue and grow in the landscape we face in a post pandemic world.
