About the event

Before the pandemic, I spent a couple of weekends a month on the road doing book tours and speaking to book clubs that had chosen my work to read. As I crisscrossed the country hosting these events and listening to a lot of questions during Q&A sessions, a theme emerged: a lot of people want to write a book.

I would always get questions about the process of writing a book, publishing, and how to find an audience.

Everyone has a story to tell.

It seemed so many people wanted to tell their story, be it a memoir, a non-fiction work on a subject that fascinated them, or a fiction story that was taking up residence in their brain.

There were many reasons they hadn’t finished or hadn’t even started telling the stories that were important them.

Some of those reasons included:

Lack of time

Writer’s block

Not knowing where to start

Not knowing how to finish

The writing process

Editing

Cover design

Publishing concerns

And so much more!

I struggled with all of these concerns before I published my first book. I’m now a best selling author and have three published books under my belt (and a few more being written as we speak.)

For a long time, I didn’t know how to answer the questions I was receiving while on tour with the short time I had during those brief Q&A sessions.

Now, we are all living in a world that has dramatically changed!

I can’t go back out on tour right now, but we can all work together virtually to help tell the stories that are important to you.

I’ll be hosting two with unique focuses: the first will focus on the process of writing and time management to complete your book. The second session will be a deep dive into publishing, promotion, and building an audience.

Each workshop will last two hours, I will go over as much as I can about the process, the struggles, and the fixes I’ve created for myself to get the story written! After our session is done, I will hand the reigns over to each of you to ask your questions and workshop ideas together as a team.

You can attend one workshop or both session, it’s your choice. I will also be offering special opportunities for a select few of you to have one-on-one breakout sessions with me to discuss your work in detail, and bounce ideas off each other, to help make your work a success.

So if you haven’t yet gotten up the courage to write your manuscript, or maybe you are stuck somewhere in the process, this event is for you!

Let’s write together and tell the stories that change the world.

(After you secure your ticket a Zoom meeting invite will be sent to the email provided on your RSVP one week prior to the event with detailed instructions.)
